Milano Linate X - Landmarks (Part 1)

Altough Linate is one of major commercial aviation city-hub of Italy, its GA and VFR activity is relevant. Milan is a city full of skyscrapers, telecommunication towers, railway stations and so on. So I have decided to create some important landmarks that can help the VFR pilot to find the way and the IFR pilot to make more enjoyable it's approach. They will released in bundle with the scenery airport itself. Here are some work in progress pictures from GMAX:

Telecom Italia communication tower - 187m AGL (Rozzano)

Mediaset communication tower - 100m AGL (Cologno Monzese)

ParthenoSim - Presentation

Hi and welcome to ParthenoSim, the new venture based in Milan that aims to develop the majority of the italian airports for FS9, FSX and PREPAR3D.

From the experience of scenery design for napulevola (LIRN 2006, LIRN-X), the company started its activity with two of the best city-airport of Italy: Milano Linate and Napoli Capodichino.

Both developed for FS2004 and FSX, they will be avalaible also for PREPAR3D, bringing the flight simulator experience to professional fun.

Why the name ParthenoSim? It is a composition of Parthenope (Greek name of my birth city - Naples) and Sim that stand for Simulator. A tribute to my city, the most beautiful in the world!

Soon we will post two showcases with the status of the development. Keep in touch!
